Moon Lake

Fourth of July weekend we headed up to Moon Lake and it was beautiful. The weather was perfect most of the time and the kids had so much fun fishing. That was a good thing since that was about the only thing you could do there. It rained on and off on Saturday which was kind of cool since it made us go inside the trailer and play games with each other. Sunday was another nice day and the kids didn't even notice that they were missing out on fireworks either. Sometimes it is nice to do something different then the norm, anyways I know this is late but enjoy the pictures.Nathan made this ball entirely out of sand, it was huge and very heavy.

Bear Lake

Every couple years we get together with the Young side of the family for a family reunion. This year we went up to bear lake. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to go, I had so much stuff going on with school and studying that I figured I'd be stressed out the whole time. Once we got up there and got set up I decided I was going to have a good time and I did. The kids were so excited to be there and to see there cousins and it was good to get together with everyone. Our first night there it rained, luckily our tent was nice and big that we couldn't even tell it rained. Surprisingly we all slept very good. Tim brought our horseshoe set and everyone that played seemed to have a great time.View from the campsiteLily and Emma just hanging out. They have so much fun togetherWe finally got to meet our newest nephew Aiden.Emma playing down by the lake. The water was too cold for her but not for some of the kids.
Since we were so close to the Idaho we decided to take a 5 minute ride so we can say we've been to Idaho. Campfires and marshmallow, silly kids and chitter chadder...Love it

Hazzah!!!

When Tim and I were first dating he took me to my first Renaissance Fair at Glen Helen. We went a couple of times and had a blast. When we first moved up to Utah we went to a St. Patrick's day parade and found out that Utah has a renaissance fair too. We thought the kids would love it, and they did. This was the second year we went. Ammon and Emma wanted the face painting. Ammon opted out for his arm and got this really cool spider and Emma had her face painted like a beautiful butterfly.
Brigham and Teancum decided they didn't want anything in hopes of maybe getting a souvenir later in the day.
Our favorite thing to watch at the fair is the full contact jousting. These guys compete all over and look just like you'd imagine them back in the day. They use real lances and hit each other very hard. It is amazing to watch. Before the "knights" start fighting they pick a beautiful maiden out of the crowd. Emma was picked to represent our knight. Here is the flower he gave her. She was so in excited..........and so the tradition continues, Hazzah! Hazzah! Hazzah!
