Hazzah!!!

When Tim and I were first dating he took me to my first Renaissance Fair at Glen Helen. We went a couple of times and had a blast. When we first moved up to Utah we went to a St. Patrick's day parade and found out that Utah has a renaissance fair too. We thought the kids would love it, and they did. This was the second year we went. Ammon and Emma wanted the face painting. Ammon opted out for his arm and got this really cool spider and Emma had her face painted like a beautiful butterfly.
Brigham and Teancum decided they didn't want anything in hopes of maybe getting a souvenir later in the day.
Our favorite thing to watch at the fair is the full contact jousting. These guys compete all over and look just like you'd imagine them back in the day. They use real lances and hit each other very hard. It is amazing to watch. Before the "knights" start fighting they pick a beautiful maiden out of the crowd. Emma was picked to represent our knight. Here is the flower he gave her. She was so in excited..........and so the tradition continues, Hazzah! Hazzah! Hazzah!

And on and on it goes....

Happy Birthday Brigham!!
Brigham and his best friend Blake had their 5th birthday party together. They had a blast.
Happy birthday boys!

Ammon's baptism was great and we had a good turn out. He was baptized May 1st in Springville, Utah. So proud of you and your decision to be baptized.
Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Young with Ammon

Daddy and Ammon
Roller Skating...so much fun!So, some of you know that I used to go skating all the time back in the day. Well I thought I'd bring the kids to a skating rink. It was so much fun, until... The lights were low and the strobe light was on I was feeling the music and skating pretty fast when...all of a sudden...I WAS ON THE FLOOR. Ok, what just happened. All I can figure out was that something was on the floor and my skate got stuck on it and down I went. If you look at my hand my thumb got bruised and my wrist. It has probably been over 14 years since I crashed on skates. Oh well at least I had fun.
Emma and Brigham had to go to a surgical center to get their teeth fixed. They both were put under to do this and I was a little worried. Two kids in the same day that get put under for a procedure and not being able to be there while they were prepping them was a little sad. They both did really good. Emma had a harder time coming out of it. She was crying a lot and nothing I did comforted her. After about 15 minutes she was mostly back to her self. Brigham was very quiet and cuddly just like he is when he is tired.
I looked back to check on Emma and she was fast asleep still sitting like a lady.

Happy Birthday Ammon. Ammon turned 8 on his birthday and was so excited he was going to get baptized.
Yummy cake that Grandpa and Grandma got for Ammon, needless to say there wasn't anything left after we started.
Emma had a fun 3rd birthday. We had a a lot of friends over and she got a lot of fun things.

It took Emma a little while to decide what she wanted her cake to be. It turned out really cute.
I got to use some of my skills and make the cake and balloon flowers.
Ahh, so cute...and oh so yummy.

Tim had a fun birthday at Pirate Island, this was our waitress. She was a great pirate. We had a blast.

Where have you been? Or where have we been? Well were back!!

So a lot has been going on since our last post. Both Tim and I are going to school and working. We are mostly keeping up with the kids. Tim has the calling of Webelos leader, which happens to be Teancum right now. He has been able to help all of his boys get their webelos badge already and they are now working towards there arrow of light. He does a great job with the kids, they have learned so much having him home with them. Teancum is doing really well in school and has a lot of friends his age in our neighborhood. He loves riding his dirt bike still even though the rides aren't as often as he would like. Ammon just turned eight and is excited to be baptized. He has made great progress with school, thanks to his dad. He loves life and being able to get outside and play. Brigham can't wait to start kindergarten in August, although when I took him to get the rest of his shots for school and told him he had to have them to start school, he changed his mind about school. He said "I don't want to go to school anymore!" He's back on track now that it's over. Emma is as girly as can be, she loves to have her hair done, she changes he clothes as many times as possible. She try's on dresses until she finds one she loves. She also loves her purse and to get her toes done. So far I am doing really good in school and only have 10 weeks until I'm done. I can't wait to get out into the medical field. Right now I have a few days off and it has been nice to spend it with the family. It doesn't happen all that often because I'm usually at school or work or studding for school...I guess its all worth it in the end. Here are some pictures of what has been going on for the last few months.
Tim on his 37th birthday. New years eve at Jonathan and Robin's house.
We played Chubby Bunny...and Tim won.
We went to Arizona for Christmas and on the way back would couldn't help stop at the Grand Canyon. It was only a short 45 minutes detor and well worth it, just look at the view. Everyone should take the chance and go, pure amazement.
There was a lot of cool trees at this one view point, Brigham couldn't help but to climb them.
The kids were really scared in this picture, before we ever got out we told them that they couldn't run around or hang over the edge or get too close to the edge because they could fall off. They were all so scared that when I told them to come out onto this rock (it wasn't that close to the edge) and take a picture they were scared to death, Brigham was clinging to my leg.

We went out to an area in Arizona and went shooting. Everyone had a lot of fun.
Nathan made a potato gun, it was about 7 feet long and it shot so far. It was pretty cool.
Brigham had fun just playing on the car.
Paige didn't want to shoot but Charlie got her our there a few times, she did really good.
We went to the lights at the Mesa,AZ temple, they were beautiful.
All the boys had a sleep over in the toy room, they had a blast hanging out.
Christmas in Arizona!! Had a blast.
