Massive Update

So here is our update, mostly pictures with a little explanation of what was happening. It's been so long since I've been on it would take far to long to give complete details. Anyways, if your ready here we go. We went down to California in April for spring break. We stayed with Andy and Stacey the first night we were there. Emma found one of Andy's many wigs and actually put it on herself. What a funny little girl. This is at Yucaipa Regional park. We went there with George and Sara and their family for George's birthday. The kids had a blast, it was a perfect day. Ammon gave me this flower and told me it was as pretty as I was. What a cutie he is. Someday, girls watch out he will be a romancer. We got to spend a lot of time with our good friend Scott Newbry. He was in a really bad motorcycle accident in New Mexico and almost died. His parents brought him back out to California when he was doing a little better and he has been doing therapy. It was so good to hang out with him. It had been a long time, but it was all still the same. Tim and Scott were back to there usual joking selves.

Teancum spent all day with his friend Jared. They were having so much fun together that he didn't want to leave. They were in the same classes from Kindergarten through third grade. I'm sure they will always be friends.

Lee and Valerie Merrill came up to the High Desert and met us at Pizza Factory, the best pizza ever, and we hung out and let the kids play then we headed back down to Beaumont. Its always fun catching up with good friends.

The famous Easter egg hunt at Aunt Charlene and Uncle Dan's. The kids had way too much candy and so much fun.
We celebrated Ammon's 7th birthday before we headed back home. Tim took Teancum to his first Supercross race. He loved it and can't wait to go again. Black rings of smoke.Teancum watching the events. Brigham's 4th birthday, he had a Raspberry Zinger for his unofficial cake. Tim was putting flowers in Emma's hair, how could I pass up this picture perfect moment.
This was a sad day. Teancum was trying to jump his bike off the neighbors front patio while I was packing. I heard him crying and calling me, he opened the door and his whole face was covered with blood. My mom was there, she thought he had been shot. I was able to clean him up and get him settled down. Poor kid.
Here he is the day after. His face was swollen for a few days and then finally started to get better.
My dad took Teancum and Ammon fishing. They had a lot of fun. Ammon caught the most, then Teancum and my Dad came in last. I'm sure it was because he was helping the boys. This was at the Ethington family get together. It was a lot of fun, and lots of talent that night.
Emma was watching a movie and fell asleep. Here we are at Hobble Creek in Springville, Utah with Our friends the Merrills. We always have so much fun together. They picked up some Ice cream and we went up the canyon. Fun times.Emma hanging out in her chair while the boys built a fire.
Pioneer day parade in Spanish Fork.Candy, Candy, give us some candy!!Only in Utah would they have Missionary's in the parade.5 Jeeps all in a pile. Who'd a thought.

In August it was $2 Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point so we took the kids to the Dinosaur Museum. It was really cool. The kids have started school at Westside Elementary and love it. I have also started school. I go to Provo College for Medical Assisting and I will be done June 2010. We are loving Springville, Ut and can't wait to see what the future holds. Hopefully I will be able to keep up a little better with my posts, Until then...

Brigham's 4

May 19, 2009
Happy Birthday Brigham. I know it's way past May but it has been very busy lately. Anyways, We had Brighams birthday at a park by our house. He requested a Superman cake so this is what he got. I can't believe how fast time has gone, it seems like just yesterday we had him and now he is 4. Brigham we sure do love you and your fun and loving personality. Happy Birthday!!

Brigham and his buddy Blake, they have so much fun together.

Teancum had some lovely blue teeth, but so did everyone else that had cake. It was so yummy we didn't have any leftovers this time.

Grandma and Grandpa Ethington weren't able to come to Brighams party in the park so they brought him a gift a few days early. It was a car that also doubled as an M&M dispenser.

Here is Brighams portrait that Grandma Terry did, it really captures his personality.

Ahh, she's getting so big

This weekend we had a lot of family coming up from California for the blessing of Jeremy Monroe so we thought we would have a small pre-birthday, birthday party for Emma on Saturday. It was so good getting to see everyone. Here are a few pictures of the mini cakes I made for everyone.

Emma had so much fun getting to play with her cousins, especially the girls. It was so much fun getting together.

This year for the grand kids birthdays, Grandma Terry is doing portraits of them, here is Emma's, isn't it beautiful. This was a great idea, I love it.

In-n-Out is coming!!!

I know for everyone in California and Arizona this is not a big deal but we are getting 3 count them 1,2,3 In-N-Outs in the Salt Lake Area in the next year. I am so excited. Finally a little bit of Cali making its way up here.
So being from California I just assumed that most people knew about In-N-Out, maybe not tryed it but at least heard of it. I get to work and someone was talking about it and then I hear in the background "what is In-n-out?" I thought what the heck, how can you not know. Then I proceed to explain how they have the best burgers ever and they will have to make sure to try it when they are done building. Then I was talking to someone else and they had no idea what in-n-out was either. Seriously people try to travel to places other then Utah if you have lived here all your life. There is a whole other world out there. Needless to say we are excited to be having In-n-out coming to northern Utah, now when are they going to put a Disneyland here?...Just kidding.

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines day! When most people think of Valentines day you think of all the lovie dovie stuff. Cards, Chocolate, Flowers, nice dinner maybe a proposal, if your not already married. Unfortunately I am not thinking of any of this stuff, instead I'm thinking of how I sadly have to work today. Waaa! But Tim surprised me early this morning with a wonderful card. He found that one perfect card that you knew was written just for you and whatever is going on in your life right at that moment. I have learned not to be completely romanced by Tim. He's just not that guy, and I've known that from the beginning, but he never ceases to amaze me. He does these things so rare that when he does do them it make the moment that much more special. So to my wonderful, loving, amazing husband thank you for not being overly romantic but knowing just how to be when you know I need it. Thank you for being you. I love you and need you more then you know. Oh, and by the way we are celebrating Valentines day on Monday...more of the delicious Ruby River Steakhouse. Hope everyone has a wonderful day whether it's filled with romance or lots of yummy chocolate and popcorn while you sit down and watch a great movie.
