Doesn't anyone sleep in their beds ?!?
If you scroll down a little you will see a post of Brigham sleeping in a chair. Not too many days after I posted those pictures my kids decided to try out some more interesting places to sleep. Emma was first. I went upstairs to find something and I could hear that she was following me but I knew she was almost all the way up so I didn't go to get her. After a few minutes she still had not come into my room so I figured she had found something to play with or went back downstairs. Brigham came into my room and I asked him where Emma was he said,"she is asleep on the stairs" I thought he was joking. I checked and this is what I found.
About five minutes after I found Emma like this I walked outside to find another sleeper. Ammon and Brigham had been playing with water and they were both soaking wet so I told them to lay on the driveway and dry off. Well in the process of Ammon drying off he fell asleep. I guess in a way this weird spot was my fault...a little.

Memory Post
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Who's tired...?
The last few days I have been finding Brigham asleep in weird positions and weird spots. He must be growing because when he falls asleep it is usually between 5:30 and 6:00pm and he sleeps all night long and then he still doesn't wake up until 7:30am or later. Whats up with that. here are a few pictures

Fourth of July
I know it's late but better late then never. The fourth of July was a little hard this year. Usually we go to the University of Redlands with the Terry side and sit in the football field and have a big party and watch a big show of Skydivers, Planes, Bands, crazy people(Andy) dancing around having a blast and of coarse the most amazing fireworks show ever. But we were in Utah this year, so I wanted the kids to try something different. I thought and thought about what we could do then I went and check the mail and inside the mailbox was a magazine with different ideas of thing you could do for the fourth of July. I found this really cool way to make shirts. You take freezer paper and cut out whatever design that you want then you iron the design on, wax side down, onto the shirt then paint away. Oh don't forget to put Cardboard inside the shirt so the paint doesn't bleed through. Then when it dries you pull off the freezer paper and you have an amazing shirt. This was great for me and the kids because I didn't have to watch them too closely to know they would have a great design.
Teancum had fun designing and painting his shirt
Ammon wanted the flag on his shirt, and when everyone saw how good it turned out they wanted one too.
Brigham helped to design his shirt but wasn't that interested in painting it. He tried a little at first but was done after half a star.
Emma of coarse was the one who came up with the idea to make shirts so hers was very professional. (MOMMY MADE)
We had a BBQ at Jenny and Matt's house and watched the fireworks from her driveway. It was very nice not to have to go anywhere because we were all so tired.

Even Emma joined in with the sparklers.

WOOOOOOA WHAT HAPPENED!!!
Well as some of you know the first few weeks in Utah were full of surprises. Emma was really sick for a little over a week and everyone else in the family except for me, thank heavens, got sick as well. Luckily everyone but Emma was only sick for about 24hrs. So for about two weeks I was constantly cleaning up throw up and doing Laundry. Since everyone finally seemed to be doing better I thought we would take a trip out to my Mom and Dads. About 5 minutes from arriving to our destination I look in the rear view mirror at Brigham and Ammon. I wasn't sure what I was looking at so I asked "Briggy, what is that on you?" he said "I don't know, paint." I was thinking where the heck did he get paint from. When we got there I took all the other kids inside and came out for him. I opened the door and to my horror realized that he found the refilled ink cartridges that my father in law so nicely filled for me. I had placed them into a glad storage container and put them in the back storage compartment in the car when we were driving up here to live. Anyways, he found them and thought that it would be a great idea to take them out and play in them, and yes I mean play IN them. This is one of those moments I wish I had my camera, luckily my dad did and took these pictures for me.
For those of you who are wondering, It was church the next day and I was thinking there is no way I am taking this child to church looking like this.
I took him into the bathroom and thought, how in the heck am I going to get this off of him. Everyone who has ever had ink on their hands knows that it usually stays there for at least 2 days or longer, so how would I get it off. I started with rubbing alchool for his face and hands and that took off most of it, then I put him in the bath and the water instantly turned a nice dark shade of blue. We did go to church the next day and he didn't look so bad. Hopefully he will never do this again but he will probably be the one to always keep me on my toes. I sure do love this silly little boy.
